    Supply Chain Manager

    Organization:

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    • Establish and implement production schedules, inventory stock levels and quality control procedures for all product lines across multiple warehouses worldwide consistent with company targets.
    • Develop, implement, and achieve an approved overall materials management plan
    • Coordinate supplier schedules with Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Relations needs and establish an expediting procedure to obtain timely supplier delivery dates.
    • Coordinate the inventory planning for new products introduction (from prototype through limited market release and production)
    • Foster and enhance current Supplier relationships
    • Work with Product Development to source, select, and qualify new suppliers and 2nd source suppliers.
    • Develop and maintain key supplier metrics & monitor supplier performance
    • Achieve cost reductions, quality improvements, inventory turn improvements, and backorder improvements on a continuous basis
    • Ability to source and negotiate with suppliers to meet aggressive unit cost objectives
    • Initiate and appropriately define MSA contracts or T&C’s with ODM’s, CM’s and suppliers worldwide.

    Core Competencies / Knowledge & Skill Requirements
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong negotiating skills
    • Exceptional PC skills, including MS Excel and Word.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent project management skills.
    • Able to work on multiple projects and exercise time management skills.
    • Comfortable and eager to interact with management team
    • Ability to travel internationally 10-20%

    Education, Experience, & Training Required
    • 7+ Years of Materials Management / Purchasing experience
    • Bachelor degree required.
    • APICS Certification preferred
    • MRP System experience; system selection and implementation preferred
    • Prior consumer electronics experience preferred
    • Experience working with Asian suppliers
    • Prior supervisory experience desirable
    • Ability to speak fluently with Asia suppliers is preferred.
