We know you’ve been asking for it and we’re excited to announce the opening of our first European webstore – (www.astrogaming.co.uk). We’ve got most of our products in stock for direct shipping to all of Europe – duties paid for, VAT included – all just a quick delivery truck away from your doorstep. Additional language versions of our site aren’t far behind so for the time being, if you’re looking for ASTRO product anywhere in Europe, astrogaming.co.uk is the place to order. Our warehouses are located in the UK and standard UPS delivery times and rates will apply.

We’re thrilled to start building deep roots throughout the European gaming community. While we are in the process of establishing full time multi-lingual staff in Europe, for the time being our English-only customer service specialists are still working remotely from the United States. As such, we’re 8-9 hours behind you and our foreign language skills are rudimentary to say the least. For our English speaking brethren we’re all set, but for the rest of Europe please bear with us. Within the coming year, we promise to get ourselves a full time customer relations staff made up of multi-lingual gamers from all across Europe.

In the meantime, please bear with us as we may take longer to respond to inquiries than you’re used to. The good news is that our products are now warehoused in the UK and we can get you the best possible pricing and speed of service. For all inquiries, please note that email correspondence is always the easiest for us. Just bear with us as we train our support team on the metric system and how to properly spell things like favourite and colour.

Thanks for reading and Happy Gaming !

  4. What’s ASTRO Playing This Weekend — 10/02/09

    October 2nd, 2009

Don't take your friend's name in vain.

My solo sojourn through the barren streets of Halo: ODST’s New Mombasa now draws to a close. I’ve actually been able to savor the campaign quite a bit since I’ve been pleasantly interrupted all week to play through the brutal but insanely fun Firefight mode. Playing against AI is usually a welcome relief from playing against the plain-old-’I’ of friends and enemies online, but ODST’s computer controlled enemies have gone back to school and have graduated magna-cum-laude in Kick Ass.

Playing against AI is usually a welcome relief from playing against the plain-old-’I’ of friends and enemies online, but ODST’s computer controlled enemies have gone back to school and graduated magna-cum-laude in Kick Ass.

Trouble is, my crew actually knows the head schoolmaster: Bungie’s own lead AI Programmer Max Dyckhoff. Commonly overheard epithet’s upon death: “Effing Dyckhoff!” and “Goddamn it MAX!”

Sorry for taking your name in vain, buddy.

    – Stormy

As Josh so eloquently wrote above, I, too will be rocking some Halo 3: ODST action this weekend. Playing the Firefight mode with 10 different people each night has distracted me from the campaign way too many times. So this weekend, I just need to sit my ass down and finish it.

Actually, one of my favorite things about the Halo 3: ODST single-player campaign is the voice-acting. You’ve got captain Malcom Reynolds, Jayne, and Wash from the Firefly series, and Caprica 6 from Battlestar Galactica; a nerdcore, all-star cast for sure. Props to Bungie for stuffing 20lbs of talent into a 5lb bag.

So yeah. Lots of ODST for me.

    – Stanimal

We asked Corey to give us a few sentences on what he was playing this weekend. This was his enthusiastic response:

    ODST and/or COD4MW
